FIRED MARINE BOILER (FMB)

FMB-VS.
Performance range up to 5 t/h
Design pressure up to 1.2 MPa
The FMB-VS is a vertically arranged, side-fired boiler.
Heat transfer takes place via the plate furnace and several drawn smooth flame tubes.
On request, the convection area can be equipped with finned tubes.
The special spherical shape of the upper fire plate ensures increased stability against ship vibrations and protects this area of the boiler from partial overheating, as residues in the boiler water are directed to the boiler floor before they can deposit on the fire ceiling.

FMB-VM-VL.
Output range up to 14-45 t/h
Design pressure up to 1.8 MPa
The FMB-VM-VL is a water tube steam boiler for medium to large output ranges.
Radiant heat is transferred in a cylindrical membrane wall combustion chamber, convection heat via pin elements or optionally via smoke tubes. Natural water circulation is ensured by external downpipes that connect the steam dome to the collector at the boiler bottom. The specially shaped firebox ceiling increases stability and protects against overheating by directing impurities to the downpipes.

FMB-VM.
Output range 6-25 t/h
Design pressure up to 1.0 MPa
The FMB-VM is a vertically arranged steam boiler based on the water tube principle for medium output ranges. Heat transfer takes place via a cylindrical membrane wall furnace with optional equipment in the convection area consisting of corrugated flue gas pipes – for steam outputs of up to 16 t/h.
The specially curved cover plate ensures increased structural stability against ship vibrations and provides effective protection against partial overheating: residues in the boiler water are directed to the outlets and do not accumulate on the cover plate.

FMB-VD.
Output range 30-110 t/h
Design pressure up to 2.5 MPa (adjustable)
The FMB-VD is a fired marine boiler in D design, which is fired from above. The generously dimensioned heating surface ensures particularly high efficiency, especially in partial load operation.
It is designed as standard for the generation of saturated steam, but can also be equipped with superheater elements on request. Both pressure stages and steam temperatures can be individually adjusted – depending on the application profile and project requirements.

FMB-HF.
Performance range up to 10 t/h

The FMB-HF is a horizontally aligned, fired three-pass boiler for maximum energy efficiency. The arrangement of the heating passes ensures maximum heat utilization in a compact design.
The combustion chamber and flue gas passes are easily accessible via large maintenance hatches in the rear chamber – for easy cleaning and quick maintenance during ship operation.
