The compact and robust design of the SAACKE WHRU system allows for flexible installation in the chimney – usually without major modifications to the engine room. The two-pass design also allows for particularly flexible operation of the auxiliary diesel engines compared to other solutions. Maintenance requirements are minimal, but the added value is all the greater: the economical use of waste heat saves fuel and energy, thus significantly improving the environmental balance.
