At SMM 2026, SAACKE will be showcasing sustainable combustion technology and its global after-sales service

At SMM 2026, SAACKE GmbH will demonstrate how tried-and-tested maritime combustion technology can be combined with fuel flexibility, electrification and comprehensive lifecycle expertise From 1 to 4 September 2026, the Bremen-based family-run company will be presenting its solutions at two exhibition venues: in Hall A3 at Booth A3.423, and with its own after-sales presence in the outdoor area at Booth A2.FG.03.

Bremen/Hamburg, September 2026. – Under the guiding principle ‘Marine Energy Expertise – Engineered in Germany. Integrated Worldwide.’, SAACKE is presenting its portfolio for maritime energy and heat generation at its indoor stand. The focus is on the three areas of expertise: Engineering, Systems and Solutions – ranging from fuel-flexible plant concepts and systems for heat generation to solutions for decarbonisation, electrification and lifecycle support.

Another key focus is “Hybrid Future Solutions”. These include hybrid and composite boilers for reliable steam generation and heat recovery, as well as AMP retrofit solutions for the electrification of heat generation in port operations. SAACKE is also showcasing its technological expertise in LNG, methanol, ammonia and hydrogen, as well as in electrical solutions. In doing so, the company supports both new-build projects and the gradual modernisation of existing vessels.

A burner exhibit at the SAACKE indoor stand provides an immediate insight into the company’s combustion technology. The interplay of engineering, system integration and lifecycle expertise aims to support efficient, low-emission energy generation and high plant availability.

At its stand in the outdoor exhibition area, SAACKE is focusing on after-sales service. “Our services include inspection, maintenance, repair, spare parts supply, modernisation and technical support for maritime combustion systems. The aim is to ensure high plant availability, prevent unplanned downtime and maintain the long-term value of the systems”, explains Dennis Lühr, Head of Marine Sales at SAACKE GmbH. Another burner exhibit provides a practical starting point for discussions on maintenance, repair and retrofit options.

With its global service and sales network, SAACKE supports shipping companies, ship managers and operators along international shipping routes. Its lifecycle expertise covers both its own systems and cross-brand service for systems from other manufacturers.

SAACKE will be exhibiting at SMM 2026 in Hall A3 at Stand A3.423 and in the outdoor exhibition area at Stand A2.FG.03. Trade visitors will be able to gain insights into the company’s product and service portfolio there.
