The EMB/EME-HST is a horizontally aligned smoke tube exhaust gas boiler or economizer.
Thanks to its own steam section, the system operates independently of other boilers on board, offering maximum flexibility. At the same time, the EMB/EME-HST performs an additional function as a silencer in the exhaust system. It is connected via forced circulation to a fired boiler or a separate steam drum. Safe dry running is also guaranteed in an emergency.

EMB/EME-VST.

The EMB/EME-VST is a vertically aligned smoke tube exhaust gas boiler or economizer. Thanks to its own steam range, it operates independently of other boilers in the system – ideal for flexible ship operation.
In addition, the boiler performs a sound-absorbing function in the exhaust gas line, thus supporting low-noise operation on board. It is connected via forced circulation to a fired boiler or a separate steam drum. Safe dry running is also possible in an emergency.

EMB/EME-VFT.

The EMB/EME-VFT is a vertically aligned exhaust gas economizer with forced circulation that also acts as a silencer. Its modular design allows for maximum ease of maintenance: individual modules can be removed independently of the casing.
Thanks to external, horizontal manifolds, individual modules can be isolated or shut down as needed – ideal for flexible ship operation. Maintenance and cleaning are easy thanks to permanently installed connections for water jets and soot blowers as well as generous maintenance hatches. Safe dry running is also guaranteed in an emergency.
