Commissioning of the world's first domestic waste gasification plant with CHP
In Lahti, Finland, SAACKE convinced the general contractor, Metso Power, with its highly efficient incineration technology: Commissioning of the world's first industrial-scale pilot project for domestic waste gasification with combined heat and power generation is currently being completed there. SAACKE reference projects demonstrating stable combustion with very low heat values and high volumetric flows at this capacity created the necessary faith here. In addition, the SAACKE SSB burners are not affected by fluctuations during start-up and shutdown, and that with a pressure requirement of only 5 mbar. Very low NOx values are achieved without SCR/SNCR.
