On Oktober 29, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Laurentiu Chiotoroiu, International Representative for the Nautical Studies program at Jade University in Elsfleth, visited SAACKE with a group of students. This collaboration event was further supported by the guest professorship of Dennis Lühr, facilitating the exchange of knowledge between academia and industry.

During the afternoon, students gained valuable insights into SAACKE’s advanced combustion and alternative fuel technologies, sparking discussions that highlighted the relevance of sustainable solutions in maritime sectors. The event provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with industry leaders, deepening their practical understanding.

Looking ahead, Jade University will further its international outreach with a follow-up visit by Prof. Chiotoroiu and two guests from Indonesia on November 12. This visit builds on a newly established partnership with a university in Semarang, part of an internationalization initiative aimed at fostering academic exchanges and attracting future Indonesian students.
