> SAACKE responds to fundamental market changes accelerated by the Corona pandemic

> Sustained cost reduction in the double-digit millions targeted

> Expansion of service and spare parts business

> Aim is to secure long-term future as independent, profitable family business

Bremen, January 2021: As one of the world's leading companies in the field of combustion technology, SAACKE GmbH is facing up to the tougher market challenges that have been accelerated by the corona pandemic.

"With the appointment of the new management on 1 December 2020, we have begun a transformation process that will make SAACKE even more fit for future requirements," says Henning Saacke, Chairman of the Advisory Board. In the process, cost reductions are necessary to strengthen the competitiveness as an independent company also in the long term.

The cornerstones of these changes include relocating production to existing SAACKE plants, strengthening existing customer and supplier relationships, and expanding services throughout the entire life cycle of the plants.

SAACKE will strengthen its competence as a technology partner operating close to the customer and will continue to rely on comprehensive system knowledge in the industrial and marine sectors with a global service presence. Research and development will remain at the headquarters in Bremen.

The SAACKE Group has been active as a specialist in firing technology for 90 years. The company has an annual turnover of over 150 million euros and more than 1,000 employees worldwide. More than 20,000 plants and 7,000 customers worldwide trust in the safety, reliability and durability of SAACKE systems.
