It is already possible today to use CO2-neutral Power-to-X fuels for combustion or heat generation. Not only on land, but also at sea. Whether liquid or gaseous, whether biologically or from chemical processes: With the Power-to-X fuels, we have already taken an important step towards the future.
Even if we at SAACKE have no influence on the development, infrastructure and supply chains of the new, green fuels, we are already in a position to equip our customers with new systems or to modernize existing systems so that the combustion and energy use on board or on offshore Platforms with Power-to-X fuels such as hydrogen, biofuels, methane and ethane is possible.
By the way: We equip appropriate tankers with our Gas Combustion Unit (GCU) as a safety device for the safe transport and construction of the supply chain for liquid gas, Power-to-X fuel.

As it is not yet clear at this point in time which CO2-neutral fuels will prove to be leading, it was important for us to be able to offer you new systems and modernizations that can be operated flexibly with different Power-to-X fuels, including the currently common ones.
This has two basic advantages for you:
- With your current switch to Power-to-X you already save the mooring fee in some ports and you can save costs with the introduction of CO2 taxation if you are traveling with Power-to-X fuels.
- At the same time, you are already well prepared for the future and remain flexible in your choice of fuel.
We would be happy to work with you to find the most efficient, smartest and most economical solution for Power-to-X use on your ships or offshore platforms. Whether a new system or modernization (with the latter also existing systems from any manufacturer)…
