Design features

The innovative SAACKE vertical composite boiler also covers variable demands for steam on almost all ship types, and saves on the need for an entire auxiliary boiler plant. The plant achieves a maximum fired steam output of up to 18 t/h. A good control range is achieved using a rotary cup burner.

The boiler control is fully automatic. If another auxiliary boiler is included in the equipment, for example on larger tankers, this boiler and the CMB-VF can be operated in a master-slave mode. The boiler system is also compatible with dual fuel applications and can be delivered with flue gas recirculation for emissions in the Ultra-Low NOX range if desired.

The CMB-VF-LONOX halves your entire boiler system as a low-emission 2-in-1 solution without compromising the steam output.

Design features

The CMB-VS is a combined vertical exhaust gas and oil fired boiler.

The heat transfer in the standard oil fired section is performed through the plate furnace and a number of rifled plain smoke tubes. The oil fired section can be equipped with pin tubes on request. The exhaust gas section is designed with plain smoke tubes.

The special spherical shape of the furnace top plate gives an increased stability against ship vibrations and protects this part of the boiler against partial overheating, because residues in the boiler water are led to the boiler bottom before they can accumulate on the furnace top plate.

Design features

The CMB-HF is a combined horizontal exhaust gas and three-pass oil fired boiler.

Due to the third pass in the convection part in the oil fired section the efficiency is the highest possible for marine boilers. The heat transfer in the oil fired section is performed through the corrugated/plain flame tube furnace and a number of plain smoke tubes. These smoke tubes and the furnace can be easily accessed for cleaning and maintenance purposes through the reverse chamber doors. The exhaust gas section is designed with plain smoke tubes.
